Welcome Jaquelyne Bardales and Gabe Grantham to the Team

We’re delighted to introduce and celebrate two talented additions to our team: Jaquelyne Bardales, who has grown into a core staff member, and Gabe Grantham, joining us most recently – and bringing fresh energy and expertise.

Jaquelyne Bardales

Jaquelyne Bardales
Associate

Jaquelyne first came to Philanthropy Advocates during the 2025 Texas legislative session as an intern, and since then, she’s become an indispensable part of our work.

After earning a B.A. in Sociology and Social Policy from Rice University, Jaquelyne joined us full time to support policy and advocacy research, program evaluation, and to help steward our members’ experiences.

Her background is deeply rooted in research and nonprofit program management. Before joining us, she worked at The Children’s Learning Institute at UTHealth, Ounce of Care, and Latinos for Education. Her senior thesis research focused on community college student support.

Jaquelyne’s thoughtful approach, strong analytical skills, and commitment to improving educational outcomes for Texas students make her a driving force behind our ongoing policy work. We’re grateful for what she’s already contributing and excited for what she’ll help us achieve next.

Gabe Grantham
Director of Policy and Government Affairs

We are pleased to welcome Gabe Grantham to the Philanthropy Advocates team, where he will serve as a key voice in our policy and advocacy efforts.

Gabe brings a wealth of experience in policy, research, and strategy. His previous work with Texas 2036 has sharpened his skills in long-term planning and data-driven decision-making — strengths that align closely with our mission to support effective, philanthropic investment in education policy.

In his new role, Gabe will help us deepen our strategic engagement, broaden our policy analysis, and elevate the impact of our advocacy. His fresh perspective and passion for public good will be instrumental as we continue to push for thoughtful education policy across Texas.

Looking Ahead

Together, Jaquelyne and Gabe bring a powerful combination of institutional knowledge and new ideas. As we head into the new year, their contributions will help us grow more responsive, rigorous, and connected to both our members and the communities we serve.
