Our Work

Philanthropy Advocates brings together nearly 60 private, community and corporate foundations working across Texas to improve outcomes for Texas students by amplifying and engaging the philanthropic sector in complex policy and advocacy efforts.

Early Childhood Education

Reading and math are essential skills for a child’s future success. Investing in early childhood education ensures Texans have access to jobs and economic opportunity.

Educator Workforce

Teachers are critical for supporting learning on students’ way to future opportunities. Texas must prioritize recruiting and retaining great teachers who are prepared, supported and fairly compensated.

College and Career

Texas students should leave high school equipped to pursue all postsecondary opportunities. Comprehensive strategies should support students pursuing postsecondary credentials that the majority of jobs in Texas and the U.S. require.

Education Finance

Money matters in education. Private investments are best leveraged when strategically used alongside public investments to innovate and support improvements that can be scaled and sustained over time.
